Andrew Adelmann

Andrew has been with Designs for Learning for over 30 years. He does evaluation and related work for DL clients, provides support including training to charter school boards, and coordinates services through staff and contractors. Andrew has taken part in start-up efforts for several new charter schools, beginning with planning and drafting charter school proposals. He also serves on the DL leadership team and guides the company’s strategic planning and organizational improvement efforts. Over the time Andrew has led DL’s improvement planning, the company has approximately tripled in size and has enjoyed 15 straight years of positive net revenue.

Andrew holds a Masters degree in Evaluation Studies (Dept. of Educational Policy and Administration) from the University of Minnesota. He has taken part in several organizational evaluations as a member of the Minnesota Performance Excellence Network’s Board of Evaluators. Interests in evaluation focus on organizational improvement and the effective utilization of evaluation results.
